MOTION CONTROL PRODUCTS LTD supplies the widest range of stepper motors including permanent magnet stepper motors and hybrid stepper motors. A stepper motor converts digital information/instructions in the form of pulses into proportional mechanical movement - or steps. By varying the frequency of the pulses, the motor speed can be varied.
Motion Control Products offer two main lines of 2-phase micro stepping drives, the digital DMD series and the analogue MSD series. The DMD digital drives are based on a powerful 32-bit DSP controller, having a large number of features including extremely low stepping noise, anti-resonance, low speed ripple smoothing, which results in low motor heating.
