ICR SmartActuator: an integrated electric Actuator combining servomotor, digital drive, controller and actuator into a single unit
The innovative ICR series SmartActuators from Tolomatic is an easy-to-use, "all-in-one" (servomotor, drive, controller and actuator integrated into a single unit) integrated electric rod-style actuator, which is designed to simplify linear motion control for industrial applications.
There are two versions available- an
"ICR Basic" package, which mimics pneumatic actuators and requires no programming, and an
"ICR Plus" package, which allows for full programmability.
Both
ICR Basic and
ICR Plus electric SmartActuators offer:
- 100% duty cycle for continuous operation
- Maximum continuous force up to 1720N (387 lbs-force) and 3200N (720 lbs-force) at peak
- Stroke configurable up to 610mm (or 24 inches)
- 24 Vdc opto-isolated inputs, NPN or PNP
- Two ball screw selections
- IP65 option for protection against water and dust ingress
The ICR SmartActuator series actuators can be used in a wide variety of low- to medium-force applications such as packaging, material handling, machine tooling and general industrial automation.
ICR Basic Package
The ICR Basic is a perfect pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder replacement for low to medium thrust applications. Easy-to-use setup requires no software, tuning or programming. It features 2-position extend/retract capability, mid-stroke positioning with sensors, and force control.

communication, stand-alone operation, stepper and analogue position modes.
