The SW range of harmonic gearboxes is offered in seven different sizes with ratios up to 200:1 and 450 Nm output torque with a backlash accuracy of better than 30 arc seconds in one stage, which is normally associated with two to three stages in other planetary gearboxes. Using a high accuracy ball reducer technology, high inertial loads can be positioned accurately at speed.
The GNP range of precision planetary gearboxes are high quality, low backlash gearboxes, featuring an aluminium housing that can be fitted with a range of brushed, brushless and stepper motors. The range is offered with five different sizes to suit the motor requirements with ratios from 3:1 up to 100:1 in one or two stages, and down to 1 arc-minute backlash at one stage. Gear ratio of up to 1000:1 are available upon request.
The RE range of high-quality planetary gearboxes are offered in single, two and three stages. With gear ratios from 3:1 up to 216:1 available with nominal torque outputs up to 300Nm. The RE Range is also available with a bevel gear for applications that require a right-angle drive.
The NT range of large hollow-shaft helical gearboxes incorporates a compact reducer, giving an output torque normally associated with longer motor/planetary gearbox designs. With three different sizes giving an output torque of up to 36Nm, NT hollow-shaft helical gearbox offers high backlash accuracy of 30 arc-seconds. Higher ratios can be achieved by using together with our GNP planetary gearbox or WS series right angle gearboxes.
WS series right angle gearboxes are a high quality, low backlash range for applications where a flexible coupling would be required to connect with the hollow shaft. This compact gearbox has a low backlash down to 1 arc minute achievable, giving a continuous torque output of up to 200Nm. Typical applications include flip over tables, X-Y machines, gantry's connecting axis together precisely using either screws or solid lay shafts.
