Our new innovative MBS series integrated BLDC (brushless DC) motors with or without a patented internal drive electronics are ideal for most applications in the automation industry. The range has a variation of frame sizes of 16mm, 22mm, 24mm, 28mm, 36mm, 42mm, 56mm, 60mm, 68mm and 90mm diameters. The motors can provide output power from 1 Watt to up to 400 Watts with standard interface connectors.
The MBS integrated bldc (brushless DC) motors are comparable in pricing to standard DC brushed motors without the problems associated with brush life on the commutator. With lifetimes from 10,000 to 50,000 hours, these BLDC motors not only outperform most DC brushed motors, where demands for low vibration and noise with higher speed requirements are the norm, but also have the option of an integrated speed controller, which can be used with a standard DC input voltage or a PWM frequency input to control the speed.
Outer Rotor Brushless DC Motor Design
The range also includes an outer rotor design as an option, where motors with an outside rotor provide several advantages over their counterparts with internal rotors in some applications. For example, motors with outside rotors perform especially well in applications with significant torque oscillation. Also the outside rotor motors have relatively low profile dimensions and are supplied with power ranges from 0.3 watts to 350 watts and can be widely used in applications such as crossflow fans, blowers, pumps, electric valves, dryers and compressors etc.
The standard brushless DC motors can be provided with a range of high efficiency planetary gearboxes, with as host of feedback options.
Applications include pumps, medical appliances, printers, copiers, scanners, cash registers and more.
